volunteering is a mechanism for businesses
to contribute directly in the community
by freeing up their paid staff to undertake
volunteering.
It
is becoming increasingly recognized that enabling
staff to contribute to the community not only
improves a company's public profile, but it
also increases their staff morale. Employee volunteering can be utilized
as a team building exercise.
Volunteer
Task Force provides an opportunity for corporate
employees to participate directly in the community.
Corporations
can send individuals or a whole team and the time commitment can be a half or full
day per year or more often if desired. Each Employee
Volunteering project is tailored to meet each corporations needs.
