"I first started volunteering work
because I wanted to help other people and
give something back to the community.
I originally phoned several organisations but the Volunteer Task Force was the only one that got back to me, I'm glad they did because I've enjoyed every moment.
I have particularly enjoyed getting out there in a positive work place with other fun people. Wayne,
the Gardening Coordinator even allows me to
play my Metallica CD's in the gardening Ute. As volunteers we all get turns to play our
favourite CD's for the other volunteers and
staff.
I think we have all learnt things from each other."
