"I remember when my husband and l used to be able to manage our own garden. But as we got older we began to need more help. Sadly Mr W passed away 2 years ago and now your help is needed more than ever."
Mrs W, aged 88 of Edgewater.
SERVICES
- GARDENING
The Volunteer Task Force provides a garden maintenance service, that endeavours to keep clients' gardens and yards safe and with an adequate level of security, in order for clients to remain as independent as possible.
The gardening teams generally consist of
a staff member and a number of volunteers.
Volunteer Task Force teams can undertake duties such as:
Pruning and small amounts of hand weeding,
raking, whipper snipping, small tree pruning
and rubbish removal
General yard tidy-up
Lawn Mowing
This service is available approximately
once every three months. Clients need to
phone the office to book their request each
time the gardening team is required. Please
be aware that there may be a waiting time
before teams attend.
It is expected that the client supplies and pays for such things as mulch and other requirements needed from time to time. These requirements will be discussed fully with the client before any tasks are commenced.
